Impacto del vitíligo en la calidad de vida de pacientes adultos: Un estudio evaluativo

Abstract
Resumen: Este estudio evaluó el impacto del vitíligo en la calidad de vida de pacientes adultos, abordando aspectos físicos, psicológicos y sociales de la enfermedad. Se destacó la influencia negativa en la autoestima, confianza en sí mismo y relaciones sociales. La estigmatización y discriminación social fueron aspectos relevantes. Se recomienda una atención integral que considere las implicaciones psicológicas y sociales, además de las médicas. Es crucial proporcionar apoyo emocional y educativo, fomentar la conciencia pública y promover el apoyo social. Se subraya la importancia de programas de apoyo psicológico y grupos de autoayuda. Se sugiere investigar terapias dirigidas, tratamientos combinados y factores ambientales. Se concluye que una atención integral puede mejorar la calidad de vida de los pacientes y reducir el impacto negativo del vitíligo.
